The Garrod Association sponsors an annual grant competition to support research and residency training. Approximately $100,000 are dispersed annually. New training guidelines for training clinical biochemical geneticists are currently being reviewed by the CCMG and verbal approval has been received to proceed with advertising this program. The Garrod Association will provide support for fellows interested in training in clinical biochemical genetics.
