The annual meeting of the Garrod Association will be held in on June 25th and 26th, 2010 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Metabolism and the Muscle”. More details will be posted at the beginning of March… hold the dates!

Our objective is to promote the prevention, diagnosis and management of hereditary metabolic disease by facilitating:

• The exchange of information between metabolic centres in Canada

• The advancement of knowledge through scientific meetings

• The development of guidelines for the investigation and treatment of hereditary metabolic diseases.

• The widespread application of recent advances in our understanding of inborn errors of metabolism
